Weddings

1. Book early

This may seem obvious but whether it is your wedding or the reception or your wedding  venue, you must start by setting a date then everything else can follow and be booked around it.

2. Invitations

It will be inevitable but it seems to be a fact of wedding life that you will not be able to please everyone. Someone will end up being upset or disappointed about something, however ,if you are tactful and honest and up front most people will accept it. Once you have set a date people will; find a way around a difficulty ;accept that not everyone can go to the reception ; swap their table seating with someone else; accept an invite to the evening do.

3. Wedding Day

It may seem odd to say but after all the organising and worry about getting things just right. On the day let those around you lose they heads - Its your day - so when something goes wrong ,as it will, relax and smile / have a laugh. Because in the years to come you will look back at a small problem and it will make you laugh.

  It is your day and you should enjoy it!
